Silk Day Spa is proudly locally owned and operated, and Bendigo and the surrounding areas have embraced and supported Silk Day Spa to achieve steady growth since opening with one full-time and two part-time staff in 2003. Extra treatment rooms and the Silk Aveda Hair Lounge were added in late 2005. In 2008, there are now sixteen dedicated and caring staff ready to pamper clients of Silk Day Spa!
A true day spa is more than a couple of treatment rooms with a spa bath – it should offer hydrotherapy treatments, a tranquil relaxation area, and use treatments and products that support health and wellbeing.
Silk Day Spa has been aligned with Aveda since 2003 and support from the company, their products and educational support for the Silk staff have exceeded expectations. Aside from having an amazing hair, skin, body, makeup and lifestyle range, Aveda is committed to harvesting ingredients sustainably from around the world (including Australia), and caring for the environment we live in by strongly supporting recycling efforts with packaging and product containers. They are a leader in the beauty and wellness industry with their efforts.
We hold regular free skin, make-up and hair consultations when clients can visit us and have a play with the Aveda products while getting professional advice – it’s all very accessible and we welcome everyone. Contact us to register your interest for the next workshop.
From a 15-minute revitalising eye treatment or a facial to an afternoon of luxurious body wraps and massage, the treatments are designed to relax, refresh and rejuvenate.
